A veteran of the Atchison County Clerk’s Office has been appointed Atchison County Treasurer.
Gov. Mike Kehoe has appointed Tasha Zach of Rock Port, who had been filling the vacancy in the Treasurer’s Office since appointed by the Atchison County Commission in December of last year.
Zach previously served as an accounts payable deputy and the election deputy in the Atchison County Clerk's Office for more than nine years.
Zach holds an Office Information Systems Technology certificate from Iowa Western Community College.
