COLUMBIA—A member of the University of Missouri football team was a victim of a shooting at a concert in Mississippi early Sunday. Ahmed Hardy sustained a gunshot wound, according to a statement released Monday from the University.
Hardy underwent surgery in Missippi and was reported in stable condition.
"Ahmed is deeply loved by his teammates, coaches, friends, family and fans. We will continue to stand by him and his family during this difficult time."
According to his online bio, Hardy is a Junior running back from Oma, Mississippi and Lawrence County High School.
