
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. —Law enforcement are investigating a Kansas man on drug allegations.
Just before 11p.m. on April 3, 2026, sheriff's deputies arrested 40-year-old Alejandro Garcia Jr. of Topeka after discovering illegal drug contraband in a parked Chevrolet Equinox near Mayetta that he allegedly had been driving, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.
Garcia was booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges of possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, transporting an open container, and operating a vehicle without a valid license.
