GASCONADE COUNTY —Two people died in an accident just after noon Tuesday in Gasconade County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by a 52-year-old Herman, Missouri man was traveling on private property just south of East 6th Street in Herman. The SUV traveled over an embankment into a creek and rolled The driver and a 65-year-old female passenger were ejected. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene and were transported to the Crawford County Coroner's Office. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
