PETTIS COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 1a.m. Monday in Pettis County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a westbound vehicle on Highway 50 just west of Sadie Lane struck a pedestrian identified as Ethan K. Dillon, 22, Warsaw, who was in the road. The vehicle then fled the scene.
Dillon was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to the Pettis County Morgue. The MSHP reported no additional details.
