BATES COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 11:30p.m. Saturday in Bates County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Polaris ATV driven by Kayla D. Carroll, 34, Butler, was southbound on NW 7001 Road south of Highway 52.
The ATV traveled off the left side of the road, struck a fence, overturned and the driver was ejected. Carroll was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to the county coroner's office.
