High winds have blew over a tractor trailer in Holt County, shutting down the southbound lanes of I-29 north of St. Joseph.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports high winds this afternoon toppled the truck at mile marker 91.

The Highway Patrol reports that southbound I-29 is now clear and reopened to drivers traveling that direction.

Heavy winds also blew over another tractor trailer near mile marker 93, however that one is not affecting traffic with it going into the median.  The Highway Patrol advises drivers with these winds to be cautious driving alongside tractor trailers
