LACLEDE COUNTY—Two people died in an accident just before 7p.m. Saturday in Laclede County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Freightliner driven by 58 year old Manuk Gengozvan of North Hollywood, California was eastbound on Interstate 44 eleven miles east of Lebanon.
The freightliner traveled off the left side of the road and crossed the median, striking a van driven by 75 year old Allan M. Borgen of Redlands, California
Borgen was pronounced dead at the scene. Mercy Hospital transported a passenger in the van, 54 year old Isabelle G. Busse also of Redlands, California, to Mercy Hospital where she died. Gengozyan was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
