The Kansas City Zoo and Aquarium is looking for exhibit builders for bears.
The Kansas City Zoo is putting out a request for building qualifications, the first step in hiring engineers to design a new habitat in unused land between the polar bear's turf and orangutan territory. Their target date to open the new zone is spring of 2029.
Though the new area will be right next to polar bears, the zoo has not stated what species of bear will reside in the space, nor how the project will be funded.
