Missouri Gov. Mike Parson hints that St. Joseph might reap
benefits from his recent trade mission to Germany and the Netherlands.

Parson says St. Joseph came up in the conversations he had
with European business leaders.

“It’s pretty good when you go over to Germany and you go over
to the Netherlands and all of the sudden, you’re talking about other areas
beside St. Louis and Kansas City and some of the other parts and you’re talking
about St. Joseph, Missouri and the opportunities that you have for future
growth,” Parson tells KFEQ/St. Joseph Post.

Parson says he spoke with business leaders about St. Joseph
and the region in general.

“I think there’s going to be some great opportunities. I think
there will be a few things out of there,” Parson says. “I think there’s another
opportunity up here in northwest Missouri that’s an agriculture issue It will
be a good opportunity. I think there’s an existing company you have here,
there’s a good chance to expand.”

Parson and the Missouri delegation spoke with executives of
companies with investments in St. Joseph:&nbsp;
Boehringer Ingelheim, Schuetz Container Systems, and BASF.

Discussions about St. Joseph didn’t just take place with
businesses already familiar with the city. Parson says he always tries to sell
the whole state when on a trade mission, not just Kansas City and St. Louis.

“One of the things we really do when we go overseas, is just
try to market all these other towns in our state, especially when you go
overseas,” according to Parson. “They need to know about a St. Joe. They need
to know about a Springfield, some of the other cities that have a lot to offer
for new business expansion. We talked to a few people. We got a few things that
I can’t discuss right now, but it’s good news for St. Joe.”

A visit to the Boehringer Ingelheim headquarters in Germany
was scheduled during the trade mission.

“It was a good meeting,” Parson says. “I think that company’s
rock solid. I expect future good things to come out of there.”

While the governor shies from talking specifics, Parson says
there could be an announcement forthcoming tied directly to the trade mission.

Gov. Parson suggests St. Joseph could hear some good news from trade mission

CALDWELL COUNTY—A Missouri teen was injured in an accident just after 5:3op.m. Thursday in Caldwell County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Chevy passenger vehicle driven by Amy N. Hawk, 54, Cowgill, was northbound on Route B one mile south of Cowgill.&nbsp;

The Chevy crossed the center of the road and struck the drivers side of a 2018 John Deere UTV driven by Austin L. Cummings, 18, Cowgill, who was in a private drive westbound attempting to make a left turn.

Caldwell County EMS transported Cummings to Liberty Hospital. Hawk was not injured and properly restrained, according to the MSHP.

ATCHISON COUNTY—A Kansas woman jailed&nbsp; August 11, on a requested charge of failure to appear is back in&nbsp; custody.

On Wednesday, police arrested&nbsp;Felicia K. Lynch, 30, Atchison, on a Community Corrections detain order, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.

She is being held without bond, according to online jail records.

Kansas woman jailed for second time in 2 weeks

The Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Arts in St. Joseph offers many different ways to learn or to enhance your drawing abilities. &nbsp;

The museum offers many different drawing classes, from its Drink and Draw event to Colored Pencil Happy Hour. &nbsp;

Museum Executive Director Eric Fuson says he hears from people often wondering if it’s too late for them to learn how to draw.&nbsp; He says it's never too late.&nbsp;

"Honestly anyone can learn how to draw it is a process of just beginning to look a little," Fuson tells KFEQ Hotline host Barry Birr. "If you've ever watched an artist that really is into art and they walk down the street and they're looking at things and you think, what are they looking at, my friends would always say that what are you looking at? Just the way that goes over there, you know the way that building runs into that one, or the color over there and they go your crazy let's go we're trying to get somewhere, but that's what you have to do."&nbsp;

The museum will be hosting Drink and Draw on September 7th at the museum from 5 to 8pm.&nbsp; &nbsp;

There are numerous different ways to experience art at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art... even if you're color blind. &nbsp;

Fuson says the museum does own a pair of EnChroma glasses to help people with color blindness experience the museum. &nbsp;

And for Colorblindness Awareness month in September, Fuson says EnChroma contacted the museum wanting to give away two pairs of the glasses to visitors.&nbsp;

"So, we're going to start August 30th through September 4th so you'll have them for the whole month, and we're going to give away two pairs," Fuson says. "So, anybody that comes in that wants to go through the museum and wants to try out those EnChroma glasses and has a need for them, we'll have two separate jars to put your name in for a drawing to win a pair that fits your colorblindness."&nbsp;

Fuson says it's quite an experience to see someone putting the glasses on and experiencing color in a different way, sometimes maybe even for the first time. &nbsp;

The drawing for the winner of the pair of EnChroma glasses will be held on September 4th. &nbsp;

The museum will feature new exhibits by artists Norman Akers of Lawrence and Heinrich Toh of Kansas City. But it's an exhibition outside the museum that's unique. &nbsp;

New Marketing and Communications Director Kaitly Doolan says twice a year the museum will feature different art pieces all around Mosaic Life Care&nbsp;

"So, these can be photos, paintings, all different stuff just to make the hospital not so sad and you can look at some happy artwork," Doolan says. "I was looking through it with our girl that goes through them all and there's some beautiful pieces, so you'll want to go out to Mosaic and just walk through, there's all sorts of different sections."&nbsp;

Art will be on display at Mosaic starting September 23rd.&nbsp; The exhibits from Akers and Toh will begin on September 17th and run until November 6th.&nbsp;

The Loss of Spouse Seminar is an introduction to the Griefshare program and will be held this Sunday at Brookdale Church in St. Joseph. &nbsp;

Volunteer Debbie Lyons says the seminar is a good introduction to the 13-week Griefshare program. &nbsp;

"Once they attend this then they see the format, they see how we utilize the workbooks, what our sessions do, how the discussion works, and they understand it's a safety net," Lyons tells KFEQ Hotline host Barry Birr. "And that does then get most, probably 98%, that will join in our 13-week session."&nbsp;

Volunteer Mary Noel Owens says the course, while being God based, is non-denominational and open to anyone.&nbsp;

"It doesn't make any difference whether your loss came 30 years ago or three weeks ago, it doesn't matter you are always welcome," Owens says. "And even if you don't get to start on September 8th, it doesn't matter you can come in at any point, we've had people come in at the 12th week and that's ok it's fine, just whenever you can come to us."&nbsp;

Introduction seminar to Griefshare program set for this Sunday at Brookdale Church

Area legislators back Governor Mike Parson’s call to cut the
state income tax and say the state budget can handle the $700 million price
tag.

Lawmakers will return to the state Capitol in Jefferson City
the day after Labor Day and a week before the annual veto session.

State Rep. Bill Falkner of St. Joseph says the state budget is
healthy enough to afford cutting the state income tax from 5.3% to 4.8%.

“We’ve got it in the budget,” Falkner tells KFEQ/St. Joseph
Post. “We’ve done very, very well on spending money and not spending money and
so we’ve got ourselves in a place where I believe we can afford it, yes.”

Falkner says state law already called for a reduction in the
state income tax once state revenue exceeded a certain point. He says the
governor is merely moving up those tax cuts.

Senate Appropriations Committee chair, Dan Hegeman of Cosby, says
the state budget is strong, even without the influx of federal funds to combat
the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. Hegeman says the Internet sales tax along
with increases in other state revenue put Missouri in place to cut taxes.

“The economy’s being doing well,” Hegeman tells KFEQ/St.
Joseph Post. “Sales tax revenues are up. We did the Wayfair agreement (Internet
sales tax) a couple of years ago and so we’ve had revenue from that coming in.
Our sales tax, our use tax, income tax has been up this past year and so the
General Revenue fund is very robust right now.”

Hegeman points out the legislature didn’t even budget $1
billion in General Revenue funds this year, more than enough to cover the first
year of the tax cut.

This past regular legislative session proved rocky, especially
in the Missouri Senate. Members of the Conservative Caucus blocked many pieces
of legislation, mounting several filibusters. Hegeman believes that will change
in a special session, with the legislature dealing with only two issues.

State Rep. Dean Van Schoiack of Savannah doesn’t believe the
legislature will see the roadblocks during the special session put up during
the regular session.

“I hope not,” Van Schoiack tells KFEQ/St. Joseph Post. “I’d
like to think we could all get together and get along and do what’s good for
the people of Missouri. Know there will be some disagreement here and there. I
hope it doesn’t turn into anything big. I don’t see any reason for it to do
that.”

The special session is scheduled to begin September 6th,
the day after Labor Day and a week before the annual veto session. The governor
will ask the legislature to approve the state income tax cut as well as revisit
a series of agricultural tax credits renewed for two years. The governor vetoed
that bill. He wants the legislature to extend the credits for six years.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Honda motorcycle driven by Christopher J. Hunt, 42, St. Joseph, was southbound on Bluff Road just south of U.S. 59.

The driver failed to observe the dead end. The motorcycle struck the guardrail and was the driver was ejected. Buchanan County EMS transported Hunt to Mosaic Life Care. He was wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.

St. Joseph man hospitalized after motorcycle strikes guardrail

BROWN COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man for alleged child sex crimes.

Just after 11:30p.m. August 18, the Brown County Sheriff's office responded to 911 call involving a disturbance at a home in the 200 Block of Lodge Road in Hiawatha, according to Sheriff John Merchant.

Deputies arrested 23-year-old Dakota Wilhite of Fairview on a requested charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

After further investigation in conjunction with Hiawatha Police, officials&nbsp; Wilhite was accused of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child under the age of 14, use of a communication facility to commit a felony and sexual exploitation of a child. The case will be presented to the Brown County Attorney.

Wilhite posted bond and is no longer in custody, according to online jail records.

Kansas man accused of child sex crimes, drug possession

ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a wanted Kansas felon on new charges after an arrest.

On Monday, police arrested 32-year-old&nbsp; Julian D. Geiger, 32, Robinson, on a Newton Kansas Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear in court, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.

Geiger is being held without bond, according to online jail records. She has previous drug convictions and one for disorderly conduct in Brown County, according the Kansas Department of Corrections.

Wanted Kansas felon jailed on new charges

During a visit to St. Joseph Missouri Governor Mike Parson outlined his plan for the proposed tax cuts being discussed during the upcoming special session.  

Parson wants the income tax rate lowered from 5-point-3 to 4-point-8 percent and also wants to see the bottom tax bracket eliminated.  

Parson says there is no question that the state of Missouri can afford such a tax cut.  

"We've been working on this for over a year trying to find out really where we're at, still going to be able to maintain all of the programs we've started, still have discretionary spending left over, and then still have money on the bottom line as the budget goes forward," Parson tells reporters. "So, we're just in an extremely good place right now and if you run the numbers out for the years to come, we'll be able to afford this and maintain this." 

Parson says the Missouri economy is strong enough to support this tax cut for years to come. Parson says Missouri is fourth in manufacturing, top 10 in the aerospace and automobile industry, number three for apprenticeship, and most importantly Missouri is top 10 in sight selection 

"Those are tremendous opportunities that we've never had before and we're just on the right thing, we're on the right path here when we talk about workforce development and infrastructure," Parson says. "Cause everything feeds off those two things and we're reaping the benefits of it." 

Parson says he's working to talk to all of the Missouri legislators and says it seems that most of them agree with the cuts he wants to make. 

"And the bottom line I think it is right now. with what we've all been in our state is just having record revenues is so much better than most states around us, and if we can't as legislators, and as the governor, if we can't give money back to people that's their money that they deserve and we can't help the number one industry in the state agriculture, you know we need to pack our bags and go home," Parson explains. 

The Conservative Caucus, all Republicans, blocked legislation this past regular session.   

During his visit to St. Joseph Parson also cited the importance of extending the ag tax credit to six years, after he vetoed a two-year extension following the regular session.

 </figure>By MATT PIKE St. Joseph Post During a visit to St. Joseph Missouri Governor Mike Parson outlined his plan for the proposed tax cuts being discussed during the upcoming special session. Parson wants the income tax rate lowered from 5-point-3 to 4-point-8 percent and also wants to see the bottom tax bracket eliminated. Parson says there is no question that the state of Missouri can afford such a tax cut. "We've been working on this for over a year trying to find out really where we're at, still going to be able to maintain all of the programs we've started, still have discretionary spending left over, and then still have money on the bottom line as the budget goes forward," Parson tells reporters. "So, we're just in an extremely good place right now and if you run the numbers out for the years to come, we'll be able to afford this and maintain this." Parson says the Missouri economy is strong enough to support this tax cut for years to come. Parson says Missouri is fourth in manufacturing, top 10 in the aerospace and automobile industry, number three for apprenticeship, and most importantly Missouri is top 10 in sight selection "Those are tremendous opportunities that we've never had before and we're just on the right thing, we're on the right path here when we talk about workforce development and infrastructure," Parson says. "Cause everything feeds off those two things and we're reaping the benefits of it." Parson says he's working to talk to all of the Missouri legislators and says it seems that most of them agree with the cuts he wants to make. "And the bottom line I think it is right now. with what we've all been in our state is just having record revenues is so much better than most states around us, and if we can't as legislators, and as the governor, if we can't give money back to people that's their money that they deserve and we can't help the number one industry in the state agriculture, you know we need to pack our bags and go home," Parson explains. The Conservative Caucus, all Republicans, blocked legislation this past regular session. During his visit to St. Joseph Parson also cited the importance of extending the ag tax credit to six years, after he vetoed a two-year extension following the regular session.<figure>

Governor Parson touts tax cuts, ag tax credit plan during visit to St. Joseph

The Fraternal Order of Police, NWMO Lodge #3, has unanimously approved the city of St. Joseph's pay plan offer, and will end its protests outside of city hall.

The city is proposing a half-cent sales tax on the November ballot, which will help fund the new pay plan. If the sales tax doesn’t pass, city manager Bryan Carter says the new pay plan still will be in place, and the city will find a way to fund it.

"The salary increases go into effect October 1," Carter said. "We have sufficient funds to implement them for this year. However, if the tax doesn't pass, we'll have to go through a prioritization process to determine how we're going to arrange our services moving forward."

If the half-cent sales tax passes, it would go into effect on January 1st with a projected $5.5 million of annual revenue that would go directly to the St. Joseph Police Department to help fund the agreed-upon pay plan, which includes a $49,000 starting salary for officers, and a three percent annual increase. 

The tax includes a 20-year sunset clause. City council will hold a special meeting Friday to approve putting the sales tax on the November ballot. 

Carter says a recently completed pay study of all city employees sparked the recent discussions and protests from the Fraternal Order of Police.

"We just completed a pay study for the whole city for all of our employees," he said. "That pay study caused us to initiate discussion with the Fraternal Order of Police on police pay."

"We reached mutual agreement on something that's ultimately going to be good for the community. Law enforcement and public safety is important in St. Joseph and that's what this represents."

City of St. Joseph, Fraternal Order of Police agree on pay plan

ATCHISON —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting and have a suspect in custody.

Just after 9:30a.m. Tuesday, police responded to a shooting that had occurred in the 300 block Santa Fe in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.

Investigators learned the shooting occurred at an exterior doorway to an apartment complex.&nbsp; EMS transported a 36-year-old male victim to the hospital for treatment of a a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. 

Police also took a 61-year-old suspect into custody, according to Wilson.&nbsp; Billy Hazelton is being held without bond on a requested charge of aggravated battery; knowingly causing physical contact with a deadly weapon, according to online jail records.

One hospitalized, one in custody after shooting in Atchison

Grant funds available through the northwest Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety can be applied for now. &nbsp;

The grants are special designation funds from the Missouri Department of Transportation that are distributed to coalitions throughout the state.&nbsp;

Northwest Coalition Chairperson Chance Gallagher says the coalition is in charge of designating who receives the funds. &nbsp;

"We like to give them out to service groups, EMS, police, fire, schools, anything that has to do with traffic safety specifically, or bicycle safety, or trying to stop kids from not wearing their seatbelts, or anything like that," Gallagher tells KFEQ/St. Joseph Post&nbsp;

Gallagher says individuals cannot apply for these grants unless they are affiliated with some sort of group. &nbsp;

Grant requests may not exceed $5,000. Gallagher says the average grant application is usually for around $1,000-$3,000.&nbsp;

"These are mainly rural departments that need a little bit of help, or service groups, or just different agencies," Gallagher explains. &nbsp;

Gallagher gives an example of how the funds have been used in Putnam County&nbsp;

"They go to the Putnam County Fair and they do driving simulators, and they pass out T-Shirts, and they play games," Gallagher says. "They're one of our big people that apply every year and I think they never exceed $3,000 but they make a huge impact."&nbsp;

Gallagher says applications for the funds must focus on one of the emphasis areas of the Show Me Zero highway safety plan&nbsp;

"There's four emphasis areas occupant protection, which is wear your seatbelt things like that, there's distracted driving so don't text and drive just different campaigns with that, there's speed and aggressive driving, making sure people aren't speeding they are following traffic laws things like that area, and then the fourth one is impaired driving," Gallagher says. "So, it has to correlate to those somehow."&nbsp;

Grant applications will be accepted through September 9th.&nbsp;

DEKALB COUNTY—A Missouri woman was injured in an accident just after 9p.m. Monday in DeKalb County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Ford F150 driven by Josephine M. Kilgore, 20, Maysville, was southbound on Route EE just north of NE Grindstone four and one half miles north of Cameron.

The pickup traveled off the east side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle traveled off the west side of the road and overturned.&nbsp;

Cameron ambulance transported Kilgore to Mosaic in St. Joseph. She was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.

Shortly after 4p.m. Saturday, officers responded to the AT&amp;T Store at 806 U.S.59 in Atchison to investigate a theft, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson. Officers located 46-year-old Landon Bain in a vehicle outside the store and took him into custody for a an alleged theft that had just occurred from the store. 

Police also recovered a handgun was recovered during the investigation.

Bain served time in the Kansas Department of Corrections in 2019 on a felony drug conviction, according to online jail records.

A Country Club man was arrested Monday on charges of terroristic threats against John Glenn Elementary School.

The Andrew County Sherriff's Office received a call Sunday night from a citizen, who saw a Facebook post that said, "I'm hearing that the admin of John Glenn Elementary think they can block parents from our school tomorrow...if you intend to block parents from school tomorrow, be prepared to die for you policy."

The post came from an account under the name 'Guy Johnson.' Johnson, who lives in Country Club, was apprehended at his home and charged Monday with first-degree terroristic threat.

He was denied bond and is being detained at the Andrew County Jail.&nbsp;

A 37-year-old St. Joseph man faces criminal charges after delivering
a glancing blow to a Buchanan County sheriff’s deputy while fleeing officers.

The St. Joseph Police Department reports it received a
complaint about a prowler around 10:30 Sunday night. When officers
responded to East Ayrlawn, they discovered the suspect had retreated to Lake
Contrary School on Alabama, just outside the city limits.

Buchanan County deputies responded. The suspect and two others
took off in a pick-up, clipping a deputy with truck bumper. Stop strips were deployed and deflated one tire on the truck, which
eventually crashed at US 36 and I-229. The three occupants suffered minor
injuries and were taken to the hospital.

The deputy did not suffer serious injury.

Officers arrested the driver who faces charges of assaulting a
law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.

St. Joseph man charged after fleeing, hitting deputy with pickup

Classes officially begin today&nbsp;for the St. Joseph School District and officials want to see students in school. &nbsp;

District officials launched an attendance comeback plan in January after seeing a record low number in attendance. &nbsp;

Director of School Improvement Kendra Lau says thanks to the comeback plan attendance numbers did go up by the end of last school year.&nbsp;

"Our attendance had improved by May by almost 5%, but yet we have a lot of work to do," Lau tells a crowd gathered at the district Back to School news conference. "Nationwide eight million students are chronically absent, and that was before the pandemic now that number has doubled, last year our students missed on average nine weeks of school."&nbsp;

Lau says even worse was some of the district's kindergartners missed half the year.&nbsp;

Lau says people seem to recognize when something is not fair, but she says it's not fair to students if they are not in school. &nbsp;

"So, if we are worried about our kids getting a fair shake at a good life, we need to get them in school, the pandemic wasn't fair it hit us hard it hit the nation hard, but the pain of the pandemic and our past has to become the promise of our future," Lau says.&nbsp;

That comeback plan will continue into this school year.&nbsp; Assistant Superintendent Ashley McGinnis says one way the district hopes to encourage attendance is by 'going back to the basics'&nbsp;

"So, what does this look like in the classroom?" McGinnis asks. "It means routines and procedures are in place, students know the expectations and they know what happens if you don't meet the expectations, and differentiated instruction to meet each students learning needs, that could be whole group, small group, one on one instruction, stations, or projects."&nbsp;

McGinnis adds that it's even just going back to simple practices learned in teachers' college education courses with things such as greeting students at the door.&nbsp;

BUCHANAN COUNTY—Three people were injured in an accident just before 10:30p.m. Sunday in Buchanan County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Chevy Silverado driven by Theodore L. Marti, 37, St. Joseph, was fleeing law enforcement eastbound in the 5600 Block of Lake Front Lane in St. Joseph.

The pickup struck the drivers side of a parked 2005 Ford Five Hundred. The driver of the Silverado reversed and struck the drivers side of an eastbound 2021 Ford Explorer driven by Heather L. Annigan, 34, Savannah.

The Silverado fled the scene northbound on Ingersoll Road.&nbsp;

 Buchanan County EMS ultimately transported Marti and two passengers identified as Kristen L. Smith, 33, Faucett and Rodney L. Phillippe, 27, Maryville, to Mosaic Life Care. Annigan was not injured.

 Marti and the passengers in the Silverado were not wearing seat belts, according the the MSHP.&nbsp; The MSHP released no additional details including what prompted the chase.

3 hospitalized after 3-vehicle crash during police chase

Tri-county ambulance transported Donaleski to Cameron Regional Medical Center. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.

The vehicle rear-ended a 2018 Hyundai Ioniq driven by James M. Lunde, 74, Princeton, who had slowed to turn into a private drive.

Grundy County EMS transported Cindal to Wright Memorial Hospital. Lunde was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.

Missouri woman hospitalized after rear-end crash

ATCHISON COUNTY —A 2008 red Honda 1000RR motorcycle taken from the 200 block North 9th in Atchison on Monday has been recovered, according to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson.

The Platte County Missouri Sheriff’s Department recovered the motorcycle in a rural area near 371 Highway and Old Pike road near Camden Point Missouri. 

The motorcycle was valued around $6,500, according to Wilson.&nbsp; An investigation continues by Atchison Police and Platte County authorities.

ATCHISON COUNTY —A 2008 red Honda 1000RR motorcycle taken from the 200 block North 9th in Atchison on Monday has been recovered, according to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson.The Platte County Missouri Sheriff’s Department recovered the motorcycle in a rural area near 371 Highway and Old Pike road near Camden Point Missouri. The motorcycle was valued around $6,500, according to Wilson.&nbsp; An investigation continues by Atchison Police and Platte County authorities.

After a complete renovation that took three years the Truman Presidential Library and Museum is once again fully operational.&nbsp;

Aside from the complete renovation the museum also saw limited hours during the same time period.&nbsp;

Presidential Library Director Kurt Graham says that construction projects are always difficult and taxing. &nbsp;

"But when you factor in a pandemic on top of that it has been&nbsp;definitely&nbsp;a challenge, but fortunately a challenge that our crew and the contractors involved were all prepared to meet," Graham tells KFEQ Hotline host Barry Birr. "They've met it well and the results are just simply stunning, it's a beautiful renovation, it's a beautiful new reconsideration of Truman's legacy."&nbsp;

Graham says one of the big goals with the renovation was to give visitors a variety of ways to learn about Harry Truman.&nbsp;

"Some people are tactile learners, some people want to hear, some people need to see, some people want to touch, I mean there's all kinds of ways that people take in information," Graham explains. "And we really tried to have a diversity."&nbsp;

Graham says that visitors won't see too many of the same types of displays back-to-back, whether that be videos, cases full of artifacts, or even interactive exhibits.&nbsp;

"So, the whole idea was to really bake into that a kind of educational strategy that allowed everyone to sort of get something out of each of the phases of Trumans life as you go through that story," Graham says.&nbsp;

Graham says he has been overwhelmed by the number of visitors to the museum.&nbsp;

"Lots and lots of visitors, I mean our attendance is up, people are enjoying the exhibits, we've had a very robust summer very grateful for that," Graham proudly says. "The people are, you know as we say, voting with their feet they're coming in and they're going through."&nbsp;
