ATCHISON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 4:30p.m. Sunday in Atchison.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson, a 2022 Harley Davidson 1250 Sporster motorcycle driven Clayton Greenly, 46, Atchison, was southbound on 17th Street.
He was turning east onto Commercial Street when he lost control and left the roadway. The motorcycle ended up on its side in a yard on the southeast corner of 17th and Commercial.
There was minimal damage to the motorcycle and no damage to the residential property, according to Wilson. Greenly was transported to the hospital by EMS for examination.
