Two injured after motorcycle, deer crash

MERCER COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 8:30p.m. Wednesday in Mercer County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Harley Davidson driven by a 42-year-old Princeton, was southbound on Route U five miles west of Princeton. The motorcycle struck a deer, overturned and both occupants were ejected.

Mercer County ambulance transported the driver and a 39-year-old female passenger to Wright Memorial Hospital of Trenton. They were not wearing helmets, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
