NODAWAY COUNTY —A Missouri man died in an accident just before 9a.m. Friday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1995 Chevy Truck driven by David W. Cruth, 68, was southbound on U.S. 71 south of 224th Street.
The vehicle struck a 1999 Ford Dump Truck driven by Kelton D. Emery, 22, Maryville, who was stopped in the intersection.
Nodaway County EMS transported Cruth, Emery to Mosaic in Maryville where Cruth died. Nodaway County EMS transported passenger in the Chevy Neal R. Hacker, 43, Elmo, to Mosaic in St. Joseph. Cruth was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
