Cynthia (Cindy) Marie Foster was born on August 26, 1959, in Albany MO, left this life for the next at 66 years old, in her home in Raytown MO.
She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Shirley Nance.
Cindy graduated from King City High School in 1977 and went on to spend 30 years in the field of ophthalmology, the last 18 years being spent at Cavanaugh Eye Center as an ophthalmic technician where she had many meaningful relationships with co-workers and patients alike.
Her presence was one of a kind. Her humor, laugh, attention to detail, and kindness will never be forgotten. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, warm smile, and generous heart that touched everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter (Carmen), brother (Charles and Cindy), sister (Connie and Danny), nephews (Gage and Joslyn; Brandon and Sierra), along with many many friends.
A formal celebration of life will be held this spring. In lieu of flowers, it was Cindy’s wish that donations be made to her favorite charities.
