DEKALB COUNTY — Missouri teen was injured in an accident just before 4p.m. Monday in DeKalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Ford Taurus driven by a 15-year-old from Cameron was southbound on Irwin Road four miles north of Cameron.
The car was traveling too fast around a curve. The car traveled off the road and struck a tree.
Cameron ambulance transported the boy to Children's Mercy. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
