Debbie Colleen Hoecker, 68, Savannah, Missouri, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024.
She was born on January 25, 1956 in Great Bend, Kansas.
She was united in marriage to Tony Lee Hoecker on October 16, 2010.
Debbie enjoyed camping with her husband, cooking, and arts & crafts. She was of Christian faith and enjoyed visiting the different church denominations and their various traditions.
Debbie was very sociable and never met a stranger. She was a loving, selfless woman who went out of her way to help others. She was well loved by everyone who knew her, and she was very protective of her loved ones. She had a strong connection with her beloved children, and above all cherished spending time with them and her grandchildren.
She had a contagious smile, with the best sense of humor. She enjoyed pushing buttons and being ornery with her family. Those who knew and loved Debbie will cherish the special memories they shared with her and will continue to honor her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Verla Boyd; her brother, John Sheldon; and grandson, Zachary Brookshire.
Survivors include her husband, Tony; her children, Charity Atoigue (Andrew), Myke Hawley (Melissa), Richie Boyd (Stephany), Ashley Boyd and Christyna Kunrath; grandchildren, Brastin, Seth, Dominic, Myley, Gage, Brianna, Emmalynn, Keyton and RyiAnn; and great-grandchildren, Layton, Lilith, Chandler, Alex and Riley.
The family will gather with friends 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. Saturday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
