Loretta Kay Rhule, age 69, was born October 3, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri and passed away February 21, 2026 at Mosaic Hospital in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Everyone that met Loretta would say she was hardheaded and stubborn. She loved her cats and chickens. She also loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting or just sitting outside at her picnic table.
She is preceded in death by her Mom, Katherine (George) Kucenic; Dad, Alfred (Betty) Patzner; Brother, Eugene Patzer, Her granddads Poppi Jusssuppi Taco Hays, and Tyson Dozer Skyler Hays that she helped name.
Loretta is survived by her husband, William Hays; Daughters, Megan (Jessiy) Hays, Jessica Hays, Elizabeth Huffman, & Amanda Vanover; Sister, Karen (Gary) Porter; Niece, Megan (Jeremy) Cocayne; and Nephew Jeremy Edwards.
No funeral services are scheduled at this time.
