WORTH COUNTY —A Missouri man died in an accident just after 5:30p.m. Thursday in Worth County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Chevy S10 pickup driven by Max A. Calhoon, 73, Allendale, was northbound on Route T just north of North Street in Allendale.
The pickup crossed the center of the road, traveled off the west side of Route T, went airborne, struck the ground, traveled off an embankment, struck several trees and landed in a pond. Calhoon was pronounced dead at the scene and transported by Sheridan ambulance to Pruch-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
