Dorothy Lee Rowe 89, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026 in a St. Joseph health care center.
She was born October 20, 1936 in Corning, MO, daughter of the late Bonnie and Charles Gerber. She attended Lafayette High School, and married Allan Rowe on April 30, 1954, and they have shared 71 years together. Dorothy was a nature lover, who had great sense of humor and a quick wit. She was a seamstress, musician, an artist, and a collector of miniature art and jewelry.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Allan Rowe of the home, four children: Dennis Rowe, Arlington, TX, Fonda Westerman, St. Joseph, MO, Paul (Melissa Morales) Rowe, Austin, TX, and Steve Rowe, St. Joseph, MO, a brother, Ken Gerber, St. Joseph, MO, and eight grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a future date. Memorials are requested in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer's Foundation for research.
