BUCHANAN COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 9:30p.m. Sunday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported 2011 Nissan Versa driven by Damon K. Blackburn, 30, Clarksville, TN, was northbound on Interstate 29 on mile north of Dearborn. The driver fell asleep. The car traveled off the east side of the road and overturned.
Buchanan County EMS transported Blackburn and a passenger Lacy R. Woods, 28, Forest Grove, Oregon, to Mosaic Life Care. Both were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
