Loretta E. (Fink) Pile of Oregon, Missouri passed away on February 11, 2023 at the Oregon Care Center.
She was born August 10, 1926 in Oregon, the daughter of Jacob and Sophia Louise (Sommer) Fink. She attended Woods Elementary School and graduated from Oregon High School in the class of 1944, after which she attended Park College in Parkville, Missouri.
On October 5, 1946 she married Hollis L. Pile, Jr. and they were involved in farming in the Forbes area.
Loretta was a lifelong member of the Woodville Church, where she served as an Elder and teacher. She was also a 50-plus member of Chapter Z, P.E.O., Homemakers Club, Better Homes and Garden Club, American Legion Auxiliary 190, a 4-H leader, and a member of the Moila Colorettes.
Surviving are daughters, Rebecca (Greg) Wingfield and Marcia (Jim) Jackson, all of Oregon; granddaughter, Christie (Eduardo) Elizondo and great granddaughter Catalina, all of Berlin, Germany; daughter-in-law, Tricia Pile of Kansas City, Missouri; step grandson Mark Lamoree and step great granddaughter, Bianca Lamoree of Liberty, Missouri; sister, Mary Merea Schulte and her husband George Shelby Schulte, from Overland Park, Kansas; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hollis Pile, Jr. to whom she was married for 61 years; son, Robert Pile; brothers, Milton Fink, Carl Leo Fink, Raymond Fink, and Donald Fink; sisters, Ruth (Clayton) Poynter and Rose Mae (Kenneth) Lentz; sisters-in-law, Loreen (Ralph) Esch, Mary Jo (Fred) Rubsamen, Bette (Russell) Williams, Patricia (John) Shields, and Beverly (Gary) Johnson.
Funeral services: Friday, February 17, 2023, 2:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Interment: Maple Grove Cemetery.
