DEKALB COUNTY—A Missouri man was injured in an accident just after 6:30a.m. Friday in DeKalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1994 Chevy Silverado driven by Bryan J. Sweet, 30, Pattonsburg, was westbound on U.S. 36 two miles west of Stewartsville.
The driver swerved to miss a wrong-way driver. The pickup traveled off the road, struck an embankment, returned to the road and overturned.
A private vehicle transported Sweet to Mosaic Life Care. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
