ATCHISON COUNTY —A Kansas man familiar to police was jailed over the weekend after an altercation with officers.
On Saturday, Marcus C. Jones, 24, Atchison, was arrested at Oak and Harper Drive in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
He was booked on requested charges that include driving under the influence, fleeing and attempting to elude, speeding, interference with law enforcement, and battery on a law enforcement officer.
On March 21, officers arrested him for driving while suspended and he has been booked for on two occasions over the past two years, according to online jail records.
