LIVINGSTON COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 11:30a.m. Sunday in Livingston County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero driven by a 16-year-old boy from Brookfield was northbound on Route V three miles south of Chula.
The driver failed to negotiate a curve. The SUV traveled off the east side of the road. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle traveled off the west side of the road. The driver overcorrected again and the SUV traveled off the east side of the road. The teen driver overcorrected again and the vehicle traveled off the west side of the road, roled and struck a utility pole.
Life Flight transported a 37-year-old male passenger from Galt to St. Lukes in Kansas City. Livingston County ambulance transported the driver to Hedrick Medical Center. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
