St. Joseph area COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations continue falling

Positive cases of COVID-19 continue to stay low as the Buchanan County positivity rate continues to fall.

St. Joseph health officials report only 38 new positive cases of COVID-19 in their latest report. Officials saw 12 new cases on Friday and 26 cumulatively between Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

The Buchanan County positivity rate has dropped by 5.31% to 8.01%.

Andrew County health officials report only seven active COVID-19 cases and only one in the last seven days on its COVID-19 Dashboard.

Doniphan County health officials report only eight active cases in that northeast Kansas county.

Mosaic Life Care reports COVID hospitalizations continue to drop, with 15 cases currently, all in St. Joseph.
