NODAWAY COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 10:30a.m. Sunday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Dodge Magnum driven by a 45-year-old Kincaid, Kansas man was westbound on U.S. 136 one mile east of Maryville. The driver was attempting to turn south on Killdeer Road. The driver turned into the path of an eastbound 2006 Ford Explorer driven by a 56-year-old Maryville woman. The SUV struck the car.
EMS transported both drivers to Mosaic of Maryville. The Kansas driver was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
