The Missouri Western football team unveiled some new upgrades to their locker room inside the Griffon Indoor Sports Complex on Wednesday.

 The project had been over a year in the making and was largely funded by money from donors.

The upgrades in the locker room include personalized monitors above each players’ locker, new LED lights, new furniture and a player lounge area.

Missouri Western football kicks off the 2023 season on Thursday, August 31st against Central Missouri. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Spratt Stadium in St. Joseph.

It'll be the first season for new head coach Tyler Fenwick.
