ATCHISON COUNTY, Mo.—One person was injured in an accident just before 10p.m.Thursday in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Toyota Camry driven by a 49-year-old Omaha man was northbound on Interstate 29 at mile marker 105. The car crossed the center of the road and struck a the left side of a northbound 2024 Freightliner semi.
After impact the Toyota traveled off the right side of the road and rolled. EMS transported the driver to Fairfax Community Hospital. The semi driver was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
