Cooper “Coop” Jennings, 29, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024.
He was born March 11, 1994 in St. Joseph to David Scott Simpson and Jennifer Louise Jennings.
Coop grew up in St. Joseph, graduating from Central High School in 2013.
Coop was an avid gamer, with anime, Dragon Ball Z and vampire games being among his favorites. He also liked to design game characters.
Family was even more important to Coop, and he loved to hang out with them. They will cherish memories of his quirky, corny sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Cody Jennings; and his grandmother, Teresa Markum.
Survivors include his mother, Jennifer Charleston; his father, David Simpson; siblings, Cory Jennings (Lacie), Samantha Manteufel and Katie Manteufel; grandfather, Ray Markum; several aunts, nieces and nephews; other extended family members.
