Patty Jo (Corless) Suholaski 81, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Wednesday June 28, 2023.
Patty was born March 18, 1942 in Saint Joseph, MO to William and Pauline (Bray) Corless. She was a graduate of the Convent of the Sacred Heart. Patty worked for the Saint Joseph News Press/Cablevision and retired in 2005.
Patty married her soulmate John Suholaski on June 20, 1964 and they recently celebrated their 59th Anniversary. John survives her at their home.
Patty was a parishioner at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She was involved in the Altar Society, the Food Pantry and Food Kitchen, as well as the Women on the Go. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved being with her grandchildren and attended many graduations, plays, and sporting events.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Karen Gregg and Sharon Keegan.
She is survived by her two children, Amy Barnett of Saint Joseph and Jon (Marilu) Suholaski of Lee’s Summit, MO, her grandchildren Abby, Paige, Ryan, Lily and Jane.
Rosary 5:30 with a visitation following until 8:00 PM Sunday, July 2nd at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery.
