Juanita May Bryan, 94 years old, of Atchison KS died on Sat. March 16, 2024, at the Gran Villas, Atchison, KS.
The family will receive friends for a visitation on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. A private family burial of her cremated remains will be at a later date in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Atchison. Memorial contributions in her memory are suggested to the Kidney Foundation and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home who is providing the cremation care. Juanita was born on June 13, 1929, in Atchison, KS, the daughter of George and Katherine (Kautz) Pantle. She attended Atchison High School, and was a former member of the VFW Auxiliary, Post 1175, Atchison. Juanita had worked as a supervisor at the former Horton Garment Factory, Atchison. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, sewing and going to the casino with her sisters and brother.
She was married to Fred E. Bryan in 1946, who preceded her in death on Aug. 14, 1971. Survivors include two sons Richard Bryan, Atchison, KS and G. Fred (Jean) Bryan, Arlington Heights, IL, a brother Richard (Ruth) Pantle, Nortonville, KS, five grandchildren Jennifer, Jeffrey, David, Doug and Sarah Bryan, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred Bryan, two sisters Rosemary Bowen, and Georgia Neufeld, a daughter-in-law Mary Bryan, and a grandchild, Kevin M. Bryan.
