LIVINGSTON COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 11a.m. Tuesday in Livingston County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis driven by a Derick J. Rautanen, 18, Brookfield, was northbound on U.S. 65 five miles south of Chillicothe.
The Mercury rear-ended a 2001 Peterbilt semi driven by Stephen W. Wilson, 57, Trenton. The car became stuck to the semi.
Chillicothe EMS transported a 15-year-old male and a 16-year-old female passengers both from Brookfield to Hedrick Medical Center.
The drivers were not injured. Rautanen and the 16-year-old were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
