ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man on multiple allegations after an arrest.
Just before 4:30a.m. Tuesday, police arrested 39-year-old Billy E. Madison, Jr. of Atchison, in the 1000 block of North 10th Street, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
He is being held on requested charges of disorderly conduct and assault on a law enforcement officer. In 2019, he was arrested on requested charges of interference with law enforcement and obstruction.
He has previous convictions for burglary, drugs and battery of a law enforcement officer, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
