DAVIESS COUNTY — A Missouri woman was injured in an accident just before 9p.m. Sunday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Chevy Cruz driven by Nicole R. Gutierrez, 28, Gallatin, was eastbound on MO 6 at Altamont Street in Altamont.
The car struck a pedestrian identified as Cassie F. James, 20, Cameron, who was attempting to cross from the south side of the highway.
Life Flight transported James to Truman Medical Center. Gutierrez was not injured and properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
