With the potential for inclement weather tonight that could impact their game with the Boston Red Sox, the Kansas City Royals have moved up first pitch time by 30 minutes.
Out of an abundance of caution due to the potential for inclement weather tonight, first pitch for today’s game at Kauffman Stadium has been moved to 6:10 pm, from the original 6:40 pm start time. If you are heading to the game tonight, all gates will open at 4:30 pm. Listeners on KFEQ (680AM/95.3FM) can hear pregame at 5:30pm.
Seth Lugo will face off with former St. Louis Cardinal Sonny Gray in tonight's matchup. The Royals are coming off a 2-0 shutout win over the Cardinals on Sunday to close out the first half of the I-70 series.
