Lorena Joann Edmondson, 91, of St. Joseph passed away, July 20, 2025. Lorena was born November 1, 1933 in Norton, KS to John C. and Roberta (Postma) Ingrum.
Prior to retirement she worked as a Registered Nurse for the State Hospital of St. Joseph for over 35 years.
Lorena married Leoneo Edmondson on June 30, 1955 in Troy, Kansas, and he preceded her in death January 27, 1998. Also preceding her in death were her parents; son John Edmondson; grandson Michael Rollett; great-grandsons Declan and Ronan; and a brother Jess Ingrum.
Survivors include her daughters, Katherine Rollett, Rose Edmondson; daughter-in-law Lisa Edmondson; three grandchildren, Wesley Rollett, Patrick Edmondson (Christina), Michelle Moore (Andrew); 13 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; brother Victor Ingrum; sister Rosa Porter; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She loved to travel and was an avid reader.
Services will be Friday, July 25, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
