Marvin Jerry Pierce 81, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024 in Agency. He was born October 8, 1942 in Leavenworth, Kansas, son of the late Martha & Harvey Pierce.
He married Donna Kay DeMoss on June 7th, 1995 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was a lifelong policeman serving over 40 years in Leavenworth and Oklahoma City police departments. He was the 1st police officer at the scene at the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City bombing. He served in the United States Air Force for four years. He enjoyed Square dancing, camping, and golf.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by wife, Donna Kay Pierce, son, Keith (Jennifer) Pierce, Agency, MO, a sister, Sharon Pierce of San Bruno, CA, granddaughter, Mersadies Pierce, her children: Blake, Aylee, and Corday, granddaughter, Shelbie (Riley) Cobb, their children: Runlynn and Winslet, granddaughters, Nevaeh and Amariah Hazelton, stepson, Alan (Robin) Benson, grandson, Ben (April) Davis, his children: Lynzie and Brinley, granddaughter, Lauren (Jason) Milam, her children: Asher and Emma, and granddaughter, Nichole (Justin) Harvey, her child Mavis.
A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Rupp Funeral Home.
