NODAWAY COUNTY—A truck driver was injured in an accident just before 4:30p.m. Tuesday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1980 GMC Brigadier driven by Hunter L. Reid, 19, Bedford, Iowa, was westbound on 390th Street at Galaxy Road seven miles southeast of Graham.
The air brakes failed as the truck approached the intersection. The driver attempted to make a left turn onto Galaxy Road and the truck overturned.
Nodaway County EMS transported Reid to Mosaic in Maryville. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
