Dennis J. Daffron, 66, St. Joseph, Missouri; passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
Dennis was born on May 30, 1959 in St. Joseph, Missouri, to the late Billie and Bernice (Luetkemeyer) Daffron. The family resided in King City, Missouri, and he was a graduate of King City High School.
Mr. Daffron was a member of the Carpenters Local 110, and spent his career installing and maintaining drop ceiling systems.
Dennis married Shelly Annette Brant on June 20, 2012; they celebrated eleven years of marriage until her passing on August 27, 2023.
Dennis was highly involved with the Eagles Lodge, where he made many friends and family through the years, and was instrumental in helping them with their fundraising events. He was a gifted cook and baker and had a keen interest for his Harley and classic cars. He was an avid Mizzou, Chiefs and Royals fan. He and Shelly enjoyed traveling, especially trips to the beach together.
In addition to his wife and parents, Dennis was also preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Robert Daffron and nephew, Robert Daffron.
Dennis is survived by two sons, Nathan (Tabatha) Brant and Bryson (Morgan) Brant; of St. Joseph; two brothers Billie Dean Daffron (Darlene), Hamilton, MO and Donnie Frank Daffron (Jeanne), St. Joseph; grandsons, Tatum Shelter and Seth Shellito; granddaughter, Scarlett Brant; nephews and nieces, Kevin Daffron, Billy Daffron, Eric Daffron, Dustin Daffron, Sara Hart, Jennifer Westlake, Anne Daffron, numerous great-nieces and nephews, his Eagles Lodge Family and his fur-baby, Oreo
Memorial Service 11:00 AM Friday, March 13, 2026 at Heaton-Bowman- Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, where the family will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, March 12. The family would like to invite all attendees to dress in casual or Chiefs or Royals attire.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to the Eagles Lodge.
