Clifford Dale Armagost, 78, of Savannah, MO passed away Friday January 17, 2025 at a local hospital in St. Joseph MO. He was born on September 17, 1946 to Bill and Roberta (Trimmer) Armagost. He has been married to Sandra Lee Lawbaugh Armagost for 20+ years, and she survives of the home.
Cliff lived in the house he was born in on Davis St. in Savannah. He enjoyed watching all kinds of football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs, hunting, fishing, and mowing his grass. He worked at the IHB railroad until he retired in 2007. He worked at the Eagles Lodge in St. Joseph, and he enjoyed listening to all the different bands and dancing. He was a great Husband and father. His family and friends were the world to Cliff. Anyone who knew him loved his goofy sense of humor (especially always messing with his wife Sandy)
Survivors include his wife; Sandy, his daughter Michele (Robert) Spears of Savannah, son Clifford Armagost Jr. of Alabama, grandchildren, Shawn Armagost, Melissa (Abraham) Morales Garcia, and Nick Armagost; great-grandchildren, Sofia, Nalea, and Josh Morales Garcia. Niece Angela Gromowski Nephew Bill Dick.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Roberta grandchildren, Joshua Spears and Katlin Armagost; sister, Carolyn (Trimmer) Dick, and brother-in-law, Richard Dick.
Visitation and family receiving hours will be 6:00pm-8:00pm, Friday January 24, 2025 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Funeral services will be 10:00am, Saturday January 25, 2025 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Savannah Cemetery in Savannah, MO.
