NODAWAY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 7a.m. Friday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Dodge Challenger driven by Clayton J. Judd, 30, Ravenwood, was eastbound on U.S. 136 at MO 46 in Ravenwood.
The driver failed to yield to oncoming traffic. The car turned eastbound on MO 46 in the westbound turn lane and struck a 2019 Jeep Compass driven by Samantha M. Fugate, 26, Ravenwood, head-on.
Nodaway County EMS transported Fugate to Mosaic in Maryville. Judd was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
