Another day - another wild Mustangs comeback.

St. Joseph, down 7-2 in the top of the ninth with two outs, beat Sedalia 8-7 Wednesday in the first game of the MINK League Championship Series at Liberty Park Stadium.

Sean O’Malley and Sam Kissane each had a pair of hits in the victory. O’Malley had a two-run RBI single that started the rally. Savannah product Noah Bodenhausen also had a two-run RBI single, which put the Mustangs in front for good.

Kissane had a one-run RBI single during the ninth as well.

Jay Greco was the winning pitcher, throwing the last 2.2 innings, striking out four and walking none.

The Mustangs come back home with a chance to win it all on Friday night. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., and first pitch is at 7. If the Mustangs lose Friday, they would host a game three on Saturday at 7 p.m. as well.
