2 Missouri men airlifted to hospital after 3-vehicle crash

GENTRY COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 9a.m. Thursday in Gentry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Ford F250 was westbound on Route Z seven miles east of King City.

The pickup and an eastbound 2011 Peterbilt semi were crowding the center othe road and sideswiped each other. 

After impact the pickup crossed the center of the road and struck the left front of an eastbound 2014 Peterbilt semi. After impact the 2014 semi traveled off the road, struck an embankment and overturned.

Life Flight Eagle transported the 29-year-old man from Pattonsburg who drove of the pickup to Truman Medical Center.  Mercy Life Flight transported the 68-year-old man from Amazonia, who drove the 2014 Peterbilt to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. The other driver was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
