Health officials report more COVID-19 deaths; 102 new cases

St. Joseph health officials report three additional coronavirus-related deaths and 102 new COVID-19 cases while hospitalizations have gone back up.

Health officials say a man in his 40’s, a woman in her 60’s, and a woman in her 70’s, all with underlying health conditions, have died from COVID-19.

Buchanan County now reports a total of 5,250 cases, resulting in 61 deaths.

Mosaic Life Care reports 92 total COVID-19 hospitalizations in its system as of Wednesday morning; 80 in St. Joseph, eight in Maryville, and four in Albany.

Mosaic has now tested 48,266 area residents with 5,109 testing positive. Mosaic is awaiting results from 701 tests.

Andrew County reports 877 total cases with 12 deaths.

Doniphan County, Kansas reports 344 total cases.

Missouri health officials report 248,886, resulting in 3,453 deaths.

Kansas health officials report 122,741 total cases and 1,266 deaths.
