A multi-agency operation resulted in 23 state indictments and 14 arrests in Grundy County, MO on Thursday.
The Trenton Police Department and the Grundy County Sheriff's Office said the Northwest Missouri Drug Task Force, in conjunction with local, state and federal agencies, conducted a large-scale methamphetamine and narcotics investigation that led to multiple indictments and arrests across the county. Included in the charges are over a dozen counts of Distribution of a Controlled Substance in a Protected Location.
Fourteen suspects were taken into custody on multiple felony drug charges, with more arrests expected.
Grundy County Sheriff Rodney Herring said, "Today's operation is a testament to the power of inter-agency cooperation. By pooling the resources of our Drug Task Force officers, sheriff's deputies, police, state troopers, and federal partners, we have successfully disrupted a significant distribution network that has been impacting the safety of the citizen's of Grundy County, particularly in protected areas where our most vulnerable residents should feel secure."
Captain of the Buchanan County Drug Strike Task Force and Northwest Missouri Drug Task Force, Shawn Collie said, "The success of this operation is a direct of the seamless collaboration between our local, state and federal partners. By combining our resources and intelligence, we are able to effectively dismantle the networks that bring dangerous drugs into our rural communities. Our commitment to the safety of Northwest Missouri remains absolute, and we will continue those who profit from the exploitation of our citizens."

12. Veronica C. Rulz, 36, of Trenton
13. Jackie Earl Kennedy, 49, of Trenton
14. Samantha Ratkovich, 57, of Trenton
Agencies involved in the operation include the Grundy County Sheriff's Office, Daviess County Sheriff's Department, Clinton County Sheriff's Department, Buchanan County Sheriff's Department, Trenton Police Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol and The U.S. Marshal Service.
