Carolyn A. Guinn, 80 of Savannah, MO passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Abundant Acres in Savannah, MO, in the company of her children and friends of the family. She was born June 10, 1944 to Howard & Olive (Martin) Guinn in Atchison, KS. She was one of seven girls and two boys.
Carolyn loved her family especially her grandkids, fair to say more than her own, they can do no wrong. She was humble, sweet, kind, and sassy all rolled up into one. She loved to cook for her family whether for visits or family affairs. We all looked forward to Carolyn’s cooking. She would pass time talking about her years growing up with her sisters, taking drives in the country to admire the scenery or just having lunch with Gloria at a small diner. Fall was her favorite season for all the colors, she loved nature and all the critters. She was an avid reader and loved her puzzle books. If she had a good puzzle she would sit with her grand kids or by herself to piece it together.
Survivors include her children, Jody (A.J.) Guinn of Landisville, PA and Tamika (Travis) Davis of Amazonia, MO; grandchildren, Jacob (Victoria) Guinn, Maizy Guinn, Gavin Guinn, and Kazden Gillespie; sisters, Gloria Morgan of Osborn, MO and Mary Evelyn Guinn of St. Joseph, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Darlene Ellis, Velma Pendleton, Sharon Karr, Linda Shoots, Raymond Guinn, and Danny Guinn.
A Celebration of Life will be 12:00pm, Saturday February 1st, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Savannah, MO. Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
