Jennifer Lea (Straton) Galloway, Stewartsville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the hospital in St. Joseph, Missouri, surrounded by loving family.
She was born February 17, 1969, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Laurence W. Straton and Ida Maybell "May" (Hopper) Straton Noble, who both survive.
She was married 35 years to her beloved husband, James G. Galloway, who also survives.
She was of Christian faith.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister to Caleb M. Galloway and Presley D. (Galloway) Heisser; stepmother to Chas Galloway and Shasta (Galloway) Shope. Grandchildren include Grace, Jaslen, Dakota, Jaliyah, Mason, Scarlett, Inti, Cylas, Aria, Cash, Kairi and Avelyn; sister, JoEllen S. (Fred) Jackson; brother, James P. (Mary Ann) Straton, and Jared D (Melanie Withrow) Noble. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Jennifer was a 20-year employee at Missouri Western State University in the library where she has many close friends.
She loved making all kinds of crafts and crocheting projects and enjoyed flowers.
