A St. Joseph man has been charged with murder by Andrew County law enforcement in connection with the death of a child.
38-year-old Donald Tipton faces 13 charges, including first and second-degree murder, endangering the welfare of a child, domestic assault and abuse, and neglect of a child resulting in death.
A felony complaint accuses Tipton of causing the death of a child by striking and strangling the victim on Nov. 30, 2020.
The Andrew County Sheriff's Office requested the public's help in finding Tipton, reporting later that he had been taken into custody.
The name of the child has not been released.
