Thomas Lee Thesenvitz, age 70, of Atchison, KS, died March 23, 2024.
Graveside service and burial will be on his birthday, April 29, 2024, at !2:00 Noon at Mt. Vernon Cemetery with Fr. Jeremy Heppler, OSB officiating. Cremation care has been entrusted to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
Tom was born April 29, 1953, in St. Paul, MN, the son of Donald Thesenvitz and Annalisa (Heckelman) Thesenvitz. He was employed throughout his life as a professional mover in the Minnesota area and then later in Leavenworth, KS, with Studdard Moving Company until his retirement.
Tom was a die-hard, true Minnesota Vikings Fan. He enjoyed watching TV, he had a dry wit to his personality and was almost impossible to beat at chess. He loved his red pickup truck, grilling and his smoker grill.
He is survived by and will be lovingly missed by his brother, Robert (Cindy) Thesenvitz, Chatfield, MN; his brother-in-law, John Swedberg, Atchison, KS; two nieces, Hope Gream, Atchison, KS, Shannon Gream, Rochester, MN; eight great nieces and nephews and four great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Bridget Swedberg.
