BUCHANAN COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 3:30p.m. Thursday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 GMC 2500 driven by Mark A. Cooper, 55, Jefferson, AR., was northbound on Route Z. The driver failed to stop at a stop sign at MO 6. The vehicle pulled out in front of an eastbound 2010 Chevy Traverse driven by Terry J. Debford, 67, Clarksdale.
The Chevy struck the rear of the GMC. After impact the GMC overturned and caught fire.
Buchanan County EMS transported the drivers to Mosaic Life Care. They were properly restrained, according the MSHP.
